Have you ever noticed that in one moment you can be thinking of something and suddenly it’s right there in front of you? For example, you’ll be wondering about where to purchase a particular product and moments later, a voice on the radio will be advertising that very thing and where to find it, or perhaps later in conversation, a friend will come up with the information you need.  This is called synchronicity.

Another example may be that the thought of someone you know pops into your head and then minutes later, the phone rings and he/she is on the other end.  Is it synchronicity or is it coincidence?

Synchronicity is when more than one event relating to the same thing occurs at the same time.  What is much less understood is whether these seemingly connected events are actually a cause and effect event (you thought of someone which caused them to think of you and call), or random events or coincidences that are supposedly unconnected (you just happened to think of them when they were thinking of you).

Another possible reason for these seemingly connected events….could it be that your Angels are helping you out?  By Angels I mean those above who watch over you doing all they can to assist your life journey.  You may see them as Angels, Guides, the Universe or God himself.  Whomever or whatever it is know that we are never alone and always heard!

I believe that these synchronistic events are never by chance, and that they are a result of Universal guidance.  They take place so as to show us two important

factors :–

-The power of our thoughts, and

-That all things happen for a reason.

Answers to our questions are constantly coming to us and whether or not we see them depends on whether or not we are open to receiving them. For those of you who trust what you feel, answers can come more readily and clearly.  Intuition is a powerful tool which we all have but unfortunately at times we doubt ourselves, and that is when confusion can set in and our way becomes clouded.

Trusting in Universal guidance can greatly assist our journey through life and the answers ‘show up’ in many different ways.  When we begin to notice these ‘signs’ it can feel very much like having moments of beautiful revelation.

For years now, I have shared with friends many ways in which to watch for these Universal promptings.  Some had previously experienced such occurrences whilst others hadn’t. One thing is for certain however – once they awakened to this awareness, each person over time began to notice the signs – the physical manifestations of their thoughts.

I started to receive endless calls from them, excitedly sharing with me their stories of the answers they received and how. Such conversations usually began with "Oh my God! It happened! I was wondering how to …and I saw my answer on a billboard" or "I was thinking of…and I received a letter from her today". It is as though being aware that there is guidance, brings about an extra sense so that we spot the signs – be it via sound, sight or feeling. I believe it to be a heightening of our awareness… a sense we already have.

Are you aware of the guidance around you?  If so, do you feel its impact on a daily level connecting you with your spiritual side? Discover it for yourself…learn to ask and ‘awaken the awareness within’.  The signs, promptings and messages, can be seen, felt and heard in many various ways.

You can find answers on registration plates of cars or spelt out on a billboard.  You can hear it in the words of a song or something a radio DJ may share.  TV commercials and shows can also hold answers to many of life’s questions. All you need to do is be open to receiving and then trust.

People have often asked me "what signs do you see?", "Where do you see them?".  Well, the answer is simple - anything I set my eyes upon can be my answer especially if I see something repeatedly.  This usually means ‘take notice’!

The following are ‘signs’ that I have picked up over time.  These particular signs were displayed on car registration plates but keep in mind, they are just one set of examples of where you’ll find them and how they can be read.  ‘Signs’ usually stick around until the learning has been understood.  Some carry different meanings depending on the individual and his/her issues at hand.  The interpretations here are according to some of my experiences as well as those of others.

PIT – Being ‘stuck’; get out of the rut you are in.

PON – Short for ‘ponder’. Think about something before acting on it.

BLV - Short for ‘Believe’.  ‘Have faith’.

QRZ – Pronounced ‘Cruise’. Take it easy.

PAN – God of Joy. Be happy.

JOY – Speaks for itself…see the ‘joy’ in all.

PLN – Pronounced ‘Plan’. There is a plan. Trust in the process of your life.

FLO – Go with the ‘Flow’.

I’ve been professionally watching and experiencing these moments of revelation for years now, and decided it was time to share my wisdom and knowing with others.  As mentioned earlier, the book is entitled ‘Awakening The Awareness Within’.  In it I share my own personal experiences and those of the people in my life.  It aims at helping to bring awareness to people – to assist in awakening you and others to the glorious guidance all around us. I hope that what you have read so far has given you a taste for wanting to know more.

Why I wrote 'Awakening The Awareness Within'.

Years ago, I found myself on the 'wake up' trail and by that, I mean I was constantly being prompted to make changes in life.  At the same time I discovered ways in which to find peace and the answers we so often search for. These ‘wake up’ calls exist so as to awaken us to our true path should we lose sight of it.

My wake up call occurred through illness and as a result, I learned that there are many ways in which the universe attempts to make a point.  By being open to receiving guidance - that is to ask a question and then 'kiss it up' to God, the Universe or your Angels - the answers come…and in the most interesting of ways. We just need to open ourselves up to seeing and hearing more clearly and above all, trust that which we receive. This book aims at assisting people in getting familiar with the guidance - the Universal signs and messages all around us.

Some may see them as messages from God, others as messages from their Angels and/or Guides. Whatever you believe is valid as there is no denying the higher force at play in our lives. It looks out for us and steers us gently but surely in the direction we are meant to travel. I have been aware of the guidance for many years and one of the first examples I recall was at a time in my life when I needed to make some important life changing decisions. Driving along one particular day I was stopped at an intersection and in the midst of one of my many conversations with God I asked, "What am I supposed to do"?

At that point with tear filled eyes, I looked up and noticed a skywriter doing its thing. I remember it as if it were yesterday.  The sun was shining golden beams of light on a backdrop of blue - a truly beautiful day and a complete contrast to my state of being!

I watched the skywriter and realized that the answer to my question was being written up there in big white lettering, the words - GO YOUR OWN WAY.  After getting over the initial shock of having my question answered in such a fashion, I knew what I needed to do.

Now some may argue the point by saying "It was a fluke. Your timing of asking the question just happened to coincide with what that writer was advertising". That may be so, but what are the odds of such perfection taking place? Besides that, as long as we believe that there is a greater force out there than what we are in physicality, then why is it not possible for us to be assisted through life in such a fashion?

Since that day, I have on many occasions shared such experiences with others.  Most of the time it reminds them of similar experiences they themselves have had, reacting with a 'wow' response. What I also began to find was that many people didn't feel 'safe' enough to share such moments of revelation, for fear of looking 'silly'. I hope that by reading this book it will put all thoughts of 'silliness' to rest and prove that such moments of synchronicity happen, and for very good reasons.

The day that skywriter came into my life I opened up to receiving more signs just like it. They can come through at such incredible rates and in so many different ways. I couldn't imagine my days without the beautiful communication I have with my Angels.

In short this book is dedicated to showing ways in which the answers can come through. But most of all it aims at assisting the ‘awakening within’ and getting in touch with the awareness we all have deep down inside. By following the guidance this enables us to live more fulfilling and joyous lives.
