What is Reiki?

Reiki is a beautiful healing modality, which aims to assist the energy flow within the body. When the flow of energy is blocked, this can create physical, mental or emotional dis-ease. 'Dis-ease' in many cases can lead to disease over time, if not tended to.

Reiki assists in maintaining wellbeing on all levels in a natural, safe, yet powerful way. It will leave you feeling as though you've just had a massage!

Reiki Courses

Reiki can assist one’s own healing as well as the healing of others. When it comes to being attuned to the energy, there are 3 levels & Chiara runs courses on a weekly basis.

Reiki 1 – Attunes you to the energy, teaches the history of Reiki, as well as the hand positions that are used when giving a healing. It enables the student to carry out healings for both Self and others.

Reiki 2 – Further attunes you to the energy, and teaches the 3 Sacred symbols of Reiki. When these symbols are used, it strengthens the frequency of the energy, and can also be combined with other therapies such as Massage. Reiki 2 teaches distant healing, and qualifies you to practice professionally.

Reiki 3 Master Level – Attunes you further still, and gives instruction on how to attune another to the Reiki energy.

Reiki can easily be integrated on a day to day basis, able to be used at home, work and play. It is compatible with all belief systems, as it's main aim is to promote health, happiness and well-being.

Seichim

Seichim is an Egyptian form of Reiki and works on balancing the feminine aspect of a person with the masculine. Life is filled with polarities, and just as there needs to be balance between the Yin & Yang, and Day & Night, so too does the masculine and feminine need to be in balance, for both men and women. Reiki is masculine based and Seichim is feminine based. When doing my work I bring both energies through and whichever a client is needing, they receive. The Reiki is felt as a warmth and the Seichim is cooler, this being the main difference that a client will feel between the two.

As a Practitioner, my sessions are a combination of Reiki, Chakra healing, Seichim and Counselling. Each consultation is different depending on the person's needs. What is important is that I create a safe and comfortable space, where my clients and students can feel free to be themselves.
